I know that I wrote another post not too long ago, promising for another. So here it is!
I decided, a while ago, that I was going to paste quotes up on my bedroom wall. I don't know a 'bout you, but my bedroom is very small. It is about 2.5m x 2m. Compared with the boarding rooms (at school) it is the same size, if not smaller!
I found that these quotes are actually helpubg ne to become more positive in my general outlook of life (not that I didn't anyway).
I was wondering if any of you peeps at home would be able to find some quotes and comment on this post? That would be ever so grateful. It would make me feel so much better - everything is anonymous, so theres no need to worry!
Please comment soon!

LEAP english Assigment
Hey guys,
I now know thats lots of people are reading this blog. I'm ever so grateful. Im going to post some more blogs now.
At school, we have a personal research project. This is where you chose a thesis statement of your choice and write a 1500-2000 word report on it. My thesis is: Do teenage girls prefer the Harry Potter book series or movie sequals? I have just startes it. I have decided to do a content analysis on the Deathly Hallows book and then compare it to the Part 1 movie.
If anybody (from all ages and genders) please post some comments! They will help me a lot with this report.
I will post some more things soon!

What's Eating Gilbert Grape?
Hey all,
It's Max... I know that it has been a long time. I have been sick and I went to a music camp last week. But know I'm back.
In LEAP English this term, we are studing "Identity in Narrative". Each member of the class got a book to read. Mine was An Abundance of Katherines written by John Green. (A good read).

We also had to watch What's Eating Gilbert Grape? This movie has Jonny Depp in it!!! Anway, its about a young man named Gilbert. He has a sister, Amy, who is 20 and acts like the mum of the house. Gilbert's youngest sister, Ellen, is 15 and she gets Gilbert into a lot of trouble. Arnie is turning 18 and has a disability. Bonnie is Gilbert's mum and she hasen't left the house in over seven years. Gilbert's dad was "hung out to dry" 17 years ago.
Gilbert thinks that he is a bad person because all he does is look after Arnie. Becky comes along and shows Gilbert that he is a good person.
I have to go now, so you better get watching!

Hey people!
I am going to write down the 25 books that I have read and you guys can do the reading!
1. King Aurthur - a historian book, not very interesting
2. Jungle Book - Kipling is a good author and do not watch the movie as it has nothing to do with the book...
3. The Call of the Wild - Jack London has many books just like this one. They're interesting if you like animals
4. The Thousandth Brumby - Lots of books by this author. They are interesting and all about horses (for all you horse-lovers)
5. The Ancient Future - clever title
6. An Echo in Time - after the Ancient Future
7. Masters of Reality - third book in the trilogy. Only avaliable is hard-copy.
8. Witch and Wizard - James Patterson, one of my favourite authors
9. The Call of the Wild - see number 3.
10. White Fang - Another of Jack Londons books. They are fantastic!
11. Merchant of Venice - one of Shakespeare's plays. Read it for school.
12. The Alchemyst - Michael Scott, first in the series
13. The Magician - second in the Nicholas Flamel series
14. Aesop's Fables - short stories that everybody must read. (The rabbit and the tortise)
15. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (The Headless Horseman) - I had nightmares for weeks afterwards...
16. Demons and Druids - Another one of James Patterson's
17. Fang - I am addicted to the Maximum Ride series...
18. White Tiger - first in the series (Kylie Chan)
19. Red Pheonix - next in series
20. Blue Dragon - last in trilogy and runs into another series by Kylie
21. Earth to Hell - first and fourth in the series
22. Hell to Heaven - second
23. Witch and Wizard: The Gift - After Witch and Wizard. I read both these books in a few hours. They are easy and a good read
24. The Sorceress - Next in the Nicholas Flamel series
25. The Necromancer - The second last book in the Flamel series and the latest book out.
26. Amber Magic is a book only avaliable on Kindle and it is quite different. I have never read anything like it.
I hope that you enjoy reading.
Talk to you all next time!

Writing
Writing has now become apart of my life. I have done many things over these past few weeks that have had nothing to do with English. I have almost come to the climax in my book and will not reveal anything about it until further notice.
Here are some ideas that I think should be in any book
- Mythical creatures
- Adventure
- Change in life
- One person to save the world
- Romance
and pretty much anything else.
If I ever read a book with a lot in it and is fast moving... I will declare it my favourite book!
I have to go now, so talk to you soon,
Moonshadow
